Indiana law does not limit or prohibit contributions to public questions. Individuals, corporations, labor organizations, political action committees, gaming operators, LLCs, LLPs, partnerships and sole proprietorships may make unlimited contributions to a public question (IC 3-9-2-6, IC 4-33-10-2.1). The Advance West Central Indiana PAC supports the local public question to permit inland casino gambling in Vigo County. Contributions or gifts are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Indiana law requires us to collect and report the name, address and employment information for contributions that exceed $100.
